Valerie Ashbaugh is the current Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President, McDonald’s USA. She is responsible for leading the U.S. Technology organization in the development, integration, deployment, and support for technology across nearly 14,000 restaurants. She partners with the McDonald’s senior leadership team and franchise owner/operators to bring McDonald’s technology strategy to life, enhancing both the customer and crew experience. Valerie has extensive experience leading global technology transformations for several iconic brands. She previously led the product, planning, and manufacturing technology organization at Nike. Prior to Nike, she held progressive technology leadership roles at Boeing, Dell, and Accenture.
Valerie graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Government. She was named a World 50 Women Executive in 2018 and 2019.
